As a small business that is fortunate to guide on some of Oregon’s most fabled rivers for trout and steelhead water, cancellations affect us greatly.  When we commit to you on a particular date, precious resources are allocated to your trip.  We only have a short amount of given trips for each season and each trip is significant to a thriving business for our small family-run company. That being said, we do understand that situations outside of your control or our control can unexpectedly arise.

Trips proceed regardless of weather conditions; however, we reserve the right to cancel in the event of unsafe conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.

With so many environmental conditions changing our world, we can not predict low fish returns, droughts, or floods. If you have a trip booked and we can not run the trip on the river we agreed upon, we reserve the right to adjust the trip to another river and proceed with the trip.

Starting January 1, 2022, we will not issue refunds or give back deposits on multi-day trips. There will be no refunds.

If we cancel your trip, your deposit will be applied to a future date that is mutually acceptable.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. Little Creek Outfitters is not in the business of selling insurance. However, as a service, we have researched companies and offer information and booking links to the companies that we have found to be respectable. Our sincere hope is that no one traveling with us would ever need travel insurance or a medical evacuation, but the reality is that things do happen, and travel insurance can provide a means of recourse against non-refundable financial losses.

Please note that travel insurance is the sole means by which Little Creek Outfitters will be able to assist you with compensation for a canceled trip. The companies we recommend are Travelex and Global Rescue with IMG Signature Travel Insurance. Travelex is often the lower-cost provider and is suitable for most trips that are reasonably close to home and first-world medical facilities.

The benefits of being outdoors are essential for people’s health and quality of life. As Oregonians, we thrive in open spaces and fresh air. We feel the environmental setting for our trips (small groups and a remote, outdoor setting) is a place where we can meet state guidelines for social distancing and do our jobs.
Outfitters and guides will take these measures to assure the safety of everyone.
  1. Sanitation is a top priority and the standard use of bleach solutions and bleach wipes will be used for dining and food preparation surfaces.
  2. On day trips, clients will be responsible for bringing their own lunch and water bottles.
  3. Hand wash stations will be set up and hand sanitizer available.
  4. After each trip, equipment such as life jackets and boats will be sanitized.
  5. Avoid close contact with clients

We will depend on everyone to be hyper-vigilant about hygiene and hand washing on every trip.
